If ever you have both parents just say thank you God for the manna that you showered me with.
Some of us we did not grow up having a silver spoon already on our mouth, it is either we hunt for a prey or we sleep with an empty stomach that's how we got well brewed inside the big hot pot with spices of grace"
Now dear reader hear me out as I'm Taking you to my journey.
A life with smooth grovel makes a bad outcome that's what I've taught myself as the "SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST" to life, my one and only 78 years old grand mother who always made sure that an absence of my mother is filled, she always made sure that no tear from me shall fall down, she is the one that made me to be the person that I am today going to school with a sour soft porridge in my stomach and a shining toughees but when you see underneath you could see the shape of my feet but when I'm sitting on that desk participating non of that was written on my face, my only God sent neighbors that always lifted me up when ever I felt like I'm losing focus they always reminded me of my purpose to life who could it be if its not the "AMOS FAMILY"? Who would it be if it wasn't for "Nonyathi? Who could it be if it wasn't for Nozipho? Who could it be if it wasn't for Mamncane? Who could it be if it wasn't for Phakathi? Taking us as one of their own kids? While they where having their own problems but they just had to take risks and put our needs first. At the very young age they taught us that in order to have a pocket money? One has to scrub that floor? One has to scrub those walls , one has to do that garden in order to put food to the table Oops excuse the pun that didn't sound well let me put it this way "THEY TAUGHT US THAT THERE'S NO EASY LIFE."
And hey how can I forget my aunt "EDITH" the one who always inspired me won't forget her last words "Uqinise Isandla eskoleni mfana wami" those words when ever I wrote any exams at school those words eased my fear of progressing and it is by her words that I'm still able to face any kind of challenges pertaining success.
Coming back to my darling , of course mam Tshawe, I khawuta, u ngconde, u Rharhabe, the short , healthy, bubbly , and beautiful old women who went all out by getting herself into debts just to make sure that she maintains the whole family of 13 "EMATSHAWENI" I envy the strength of that women losing all the kids that she had but kept on moving on and consoling herself with the grandchildren that she has , and that she has invested in May God grant her blessings, she had prophesied success to me long time ago that's why she even named me after her son who passed away ages ago "SYDNEY" she is a women of power "SUPER WOMEN" I don't have any other languages which I could describe her with but all I could say is "O tswara Thipa ka bo hale" "U bamba I mela kulandawo entsolo" "Sy het 'n mes met die skerp kant" that's my Grand mother for you.
She deserves a Range rover at her age, She deserves a mension House with a pathio at her age, she deserves a manicure at her age and she deserves a Brazilian Hair at her age and she deserves not to do any grocer at her age
The reason I decided to blog about this it is because I can't stop thinking of the warm love she gave us. She is My father, my mother, my sister, my brother, and my best friend that's "NOSIZE." Love you mom.
