When I thought things were going my way with everything under control boom there comes electricity problem a transformer that was supplying us with electricity leaked the oil ant it had to be switched off and it's been ten months now without electricity. But as usual life must go on . With the little savings we have saved we agreed on buying a solar system and a gas stove. tried by all means to stay in business but it was not easy. Until the shop was not doing good at all and had to close it. But remember I had built a shop at home where I was born and along the years I would hire it out to pakistanies for spaza shop. but luckily enough it was empty now I had to revamp it do touch ups to improve it then it was business as usual again it was not easy because starting a business is not easy it needs and perseverance. There are always challenges but if you put your mind to it nothing is impossible. With all that I realized how the kids in the community are suffering. Some they are helped by the feeding schemes at schools so getting food on weekends is a struggle that made me decide to open a soup kitchen. It's still not enough but we're pushing because nothing makes me happy than seeing kids enjoying the warm meal and knowing they will not go to bed with empty stomach it gives me so much pleasure.
