The excitement around the current tournament in BPC Gijima Training Academy is indictive of the Ziyawa Sports Tournament's rising profile.
More importantly it is a chance for BPC staff to make teach their kids the importance of making friendships and respect others.
Yesterday we saw the under 14's soccer teams battling for number one in the championships.
The excitement of playing with other teams was the main thing for the kids, showcasing their talents etc.
The games went on for most of the day without seeing any of the kids getting tired. Games went on and teams went through quarter finals.
Some of the best soccer players came and watched the kids play and I guess that was the highlight of the day, even the BPC top executives came to watch.
This was all about the kids day as they play their favorite sports and making friends.
The following teams went through the finals which will be on Saturday 02/04.
1. Astar Lavistar FA from Umlazi, KwaZulu Natal
2. Firestone FC from Phola, Mpumalanga
