The league is under way and running. What bliss. Through all the admin troubles faced, the reluctance of the local municipality to help with the soccer grounds 16 teams week in and week out appear at the 3 venues to rigorously compete. More than 170 players have represented their teams amassing more than 230 goals refereed by reliable referees.

Being there, I was amazed by the hype of the league, witnessing no less than 5 debates about the strength/ weakness of the teams, which team will win it and the teams that apparently have no chance at all. Some of the teams have started their own social projects where they clean yards and grow vegetables for their fellow community members.
