Dumelang(thats my mother tongue it means HELLOH). Im Sindy from Botswana and really honored to be a part of Youthzones family. 1st thing 1st, thanks to Mr Simon Blangwe and Lungi Mthethwa for introducing me to Youthzones. I met Mr Blangwe through FACEBOOK and through my other friends from GDM and yes ive also been there, Mocambique-Manica at GDM with my ladies team from Botswana. I got to meet these two amazing people with such loving and extra caring hearts here in South Africa for the 1st time on Saturday 17th May 2007. I learnt from that day that they work more with youth, developing young people into becoming better people. From my personal point of view i think they are playing a big role in building a better South Africa and it was not as hard to understand their line of work since i've also worked with kids back in Botswana under some Non Gorven mental Organisation named South East District Youth Empowerment Association. I even got a chance to attend the leader level 1 course and i must say working with kids is no child's play but i must admit its the greatest experience and so life changing. It does'nt only grow me as a person it also grows the world, our future leaders.
I have only been in South Africa for 4 days and i have experienced quite a lot of things, amazing experiences that is. I went to watch the international friendly match between Banyana Banyana vs Ghana, trained with the Mamelodi Sundowns Women's team and also i went to Diepsloot site today with the guys and the atmosphere there is also out of this world. Ooh and i even got to read the 10 secret life skill and Tjatjarag booklet which i learnt a lot from as well and i must say 99.9% of the the things it says about my people is nothing but the truth :), though to some people it might be offending. I now waiting for that moment when ill actually get to meet all Youthzones family(site's leaders).
Thank you very much.
