Our main problem is that we start
by competing & despising each
other instead of building each
other, supporting & grooming
each other, many NGO's that were
funded by social development
when they started they never even
run for a period of 3years, u know
why? Because people who started
them, started on a wrong purpose
& when money rolls in they
became greedy instead of being a
youth centre they become one day
richer many days poor, they
started to call FUNDING our
MONEY, the moment u call a seed
a fruit then ur already out of
business, one other thing is that
many young people eKasi have
too many registered businesses,
they have CK's & out of 10 in all
different business sector 6 of
them have registred the same
businesses but they don't know
that for sure.
The resources u need for ur
business to start are just infront
of u, the guy next door is having
them also with the one down the
street & none of them is using
them, but how will u know this
when we are competing &
undermining each other? It is time
we drop the act, we stay in the
same hood, if u think that ur better
than us then excuse us, go to stay
in sandton, lets stop thinking that
we are better than others, for us
to progress as youth, we need to
support each other's interest

time is now, let us start calling
youth meetings, in our community
halls, form forums that will know
of all small businesses eKasi,
forum that will approach stake
holders on our behalf those who
will fight them with pen & paper
not violance, forum that will
organise business seminars,
coaching sessions, get us
mentors, get us business people
who will teach us how to write
business plans, proposal & teach
us how to do presentations, those
who will grow our network with
other businesses, we can do this
for ourselves & for our
communities as young people, we
have plenty of time since we are
unemployed, lento yokuthi o
