Creating a better Mzansi through sport and development
Afternoon. I am abit emotional as i am writing this because..well i have been thinking alot i guess. I dont have alot of references on my c.v because i dont have a list of fancy companies that iv worked for. My experience refernce however tells a diferent story. Pity i cannot attach that to my c.v though hahahaha. I stumbled into teaching, yep!it is something that was the furthest thing from my mind because we all know the drill....teachers dont make money....the whole over worked and under paid story (im not saying it is not true:)). I am very enthusiastic about my life and have a strong vision of were i want to be,but this teaching business fell on my lap. I teac
I teach children from the ages 7 to 14. I thought it was going to be challenging but boy was i in for a surprise. Its been VERY challenging. I expected a few naughty kids, one loud one confident one shy one bully and so on,but never in my wildest dreams did i expect to see such pain. I have had a kid come cry in my class because their parents starve them as punishment, she couldnt do her homework because her dad was beating up her mom, because her family wants her to become a sangoma, because her father died, beacuse her sister is in hospital, because they all call her ugly, because she has a disability that makes her the class clown...........
If you work with children, have children, have a friend, sister cousin who has children, pray for them, love them because some of these children go through alot at very tender ages. Stay blessed
