The good & the bad of the lockdown and the scariest part of it.

First, when I heard that elderly people are vulnerable to the virus (COVID-19) I became very anxious. I thought of my grandfather who is turning 90 years old this year and many more other elderly people out there.

He is a pensioner, he still survives by the veggies he plants in his small garden, and the little I send him every month. I must say the COVID-19 outbreak got me wondering for sometime - just a few months back my grandfather he was admitted in hospital he had a swallowing throat, and he was struggling to breathe, however, with God grace he made it through, he is back on his fit and stronger again.

Social distancing has really become a hindrance between I and the old man. With his age, I believe physical checkups are better than social check-up. Although we use telephones for communication. He is well I can tell from his hyped and vibrant voice.

The national lockdown has helped him to relax and get some rest but on the other hands the garden it's dry. He reaped all the veggies he had so he can survive the 21 days of lockdown. Hopefully, the lockdown won't be extended so he can be able to plant more veggies.

I plea to all the leaders to obey the command and stay at home. Thank you
