Orange Farm has become a desolate township leaving no bright future hope for the young ones especially the kids who have no hope of leaving this place, their parents where born her and their grand parents where the first occupants of this place.
This is because of the pandemic (Nyaupe), Initiation schools(Makulwane), Violent Gangs like (Wrong Sevens), Alcohol Abuse and so forth.
Brainric Academy then decided that not all is lost and half a loaf is better than nothing. We then decided to recruit a few kids around Ext 9 and teach them Art.
Started with 5 girls in May 2016 giving them Acting Skills then graduated to Dancing, Poetry, Public speaking, Debating and They won their first trophies a month after.
Now we have over 90 kids that we train and we operate in two Extentions i.e Ext 9 and Drieziek Ext 3 for now.
Even though we don't have premises or any kind of shelter or income, we persist for the future of our country and our young siblings.
Raining or not we do what we love and love what we do.
We use "Mint, AG and Nokia 220" phones that don't have any access to any internet source, have to wold everywhere and sometimes tiring for the younger kids but we have HOPE.
The Future belongs to those who deserve it and we have a Culture that we teach our kids.
"BCCB"
We Don't Beg, We Deserve
We Don't Complain, We Compliment
We Don't Copy, We Create
We Don't Blame, We Correct
...and finally "Tenacity Denudes Acedia"
