Firstly I would like to compliment each and everyone from different sites in this new year 204me and wishes everyone a prosperous 2014.
Yesterday we had one of the best and productive meeting with the Ikemeleng football commitee associates with the presence of Mr Doctor Mabila as usual. I am very much in impressed with the way Ikemeleng community have come together in order to make football a success in their communinty and how knit they are in terms of supporting each and every individuals and respective football teams. The league started last year and due to rains and not condusive pitch should it rain the other games had been delayed but it was agreed that the games been played saturdays nd sundays respectively and that came to evident as teams are doing that from 9:00 in the morning until 7:00 in the evening game after game. The whole meeting with the commitee members was to explain more thoroughly on the situations of how the league will run like and the expectations and the outputs of the league. Doc firstly gave each and everyone a chance to speak through their concerns based on how the league is at the moment and one person by the name of Mr Brown started by thanking Doc for the things he is doing in the community though development, life skills and computer literary and the alleviation of bad influences and crime though sports mainly soccer. Mr brown had her daughter admitted to hospital but he insisted to wait and see Doc just to see him physically and to hear his voice, that's was my highlight of the day that what Doc is doing though development some people acknwledges and appreciates and Doc even took him home after the meeting as he was expected to come for her sick daughter. Doc explained more about development and what's development is and that people should not mistaken it with a sponsor and he even demostrated computer skills and touched more on life skills. Everyone came into light on these things and mentally they had better grasp from the meetings as Doc explained more on how the prizes should not be of monetary value rather something that will benefit the community in a long run and future and everyone was happy. They have agreed to build a dressing room for teams soon with a rear of computers infront so for the community to use in terms of creating emails for themselves, surfing or even applying for related jobs so they could get such access while the soccer is playing.
It was a very very productive and a learning meeting thanks to the Ikemeleng commitee and the community as collective and to the main man who make things happen Mr Doctor Mabila and his partner Xstrata. Hope this year is the year of success though development.
