Bad management of talent will get you no where. It's said how talent is manage In South Africa. First hand experience South African sports who have no proper planning of their career. If the planning is done right. South Africa will produce World betters and Olympic Champions. 
A lot of investment in our country need to be put in to educating coaches, Sport Administrators. And i believe that Youthzones can educate and help more sports people if department of sports can engage with them.  

Talent is not what lacks, it's the management and mentorship that is our problem.
