The department of education hosts the best school choirs from all nine provinces at a specific venue every year. This year it was in Randburg at Rhema Ministries and we where very happy to give a helping hand to Upington students (a youthzones site) as they didn't have accommodation for that very important week to young choristers.

A big thank you to Fourie, his church and his crew as they did an incredible job in organizing accommodation and meals for the school kids and they were very grateful. First group was primary school children and some from as far as Namaqualand.

Second group was Secondary school and the last was FET and they where singing for two days (Thursday and Friday). Even though there were a few ups and downs but all in all, the kids had fun, we made bew friends with a few teachers and it was wonderful to see old members of Paballelo Choral doing good for the community.

These kids from Paballelo Choral adopted schools in their communities and freely offered their skills to help prepare the school kids for the competition.
