This young man was running the team effectively and the players were listening to him attentively and doing what he was asking them to do....now this is what I call development..

He was writing on the board to show the players their positions in the field, preparing the team sheet and getting them to warm up.

Personally, for me this was one of those amazing experiences to witness a young man ( 16 years) running a team of 22 players with just an experience watching his coach in action but not thinking that one day he will be running the team when his coach is not present.

I encourage all young players to grab the opportunity of learning as much as they can from their coaches and assistant coaches.

And on that day the team (Chelsea Junior FC) managed to make it to the top 8 which will be played this coming Saturday the 5th Nov 22.
