My first attempt to do my operation failed at the last after already booked for theatre but then it didn't happen Doctors and nurses went on strike an I had to be discharged and it was an experimental operation of ankle fusion. The second attempt after three months when I went back they said they cant do me the operation cause I had blister on the leg that was suppose to be operated and they told me that the operation will only happen when am healed and that time when they told me that in my mind I made a decision that this is not a good idea and am not gonna bother myself to do anything about it and closed the case.6 years down the line I got courage again to reconsider doing the operation and I was given another option again that they will give me a botox injection that will straighten my muscles on my ankle and I agreed to that guess what happened? the Dr that was suppose to that was transferred to another hospital and the records for that treatment when not found so I had to start again to be examined so that they can see what best they can do to my sitution.

Then one Dr said to me let me be honest with you and said the only thing you can do is to do amputation and to be honest with you that scared me to death but then I accepted it.

with help we went around to different Doctors to check if the amputation route was the best way only to find out it was the best option now it was for me to take that decision and embrace it.

Then went back for my appointment then the Doctor said my operation will be on the 28th of February 2020 that was quite shocking cause I did not think they will book me that soon so I asked the Dr if he can give me two dates so that I can think about it..Dr laughed at me and said the only date I can give you its three months from now and I said its fine but at least book two dates for me and that was it went back home and final said to myself am doing this there is no other way that I can miss this opportunity .
