Everytime I visit GDM, is not only the place which makes me to be myself and free and feel home but a place which have environment of no-titles, hierarchies, non judgmental attitudes, hospitality, hard working, humility  and above all family. An environment where you see players doing things beyond football which can be gardening, picking garbage, coaching the juniors, making bricks, learning and bouncing back from their mistakes, becoming professional footballers. And above all they are not bullied but they do it with joy and morale. The GDM environment is not promoting expert and learner scenario, poor or rich scenario, religious and non-religious scenario rather everyone learn from each other and do things together as friends irrespective of their differences. It is also a bridge of individuals to become responsible, team player and humble professionals in different fields as most players over the years went to universities, pro football, jobs etc. And some who folio wrong influence or trends learn from their mistakes and bounce back. Some mess up for themselves and everyone learn from that, I for one I once did a mistake here and I learnt from that and helped me to be where I am today.  The environment created here it even help my relationship with my girlfriend to see some stuff we need to work on and others to be joyful of. It helped us to know ourselves much deeper.  As a middleman in my work I also learnt and felt more motivated to be more tolerant, learn, love irrespective, be patient and respect others more and more. The family here is amazing and spirit is high and even there is a little influence of bad, it doesnt have much effect. Everyone is united, the players sing songs, dance together, eat together around the same table. GDM is real and very simple and respecting the values and concerns of the community. But with its own simplicity and reality, without bullying and thinking what is right for the community, it is growing and most people starts to see the fruits of the seed which was long time planted. As they say everything secret or hidden is treasurable and one has to work hard to find it with time e.g. Gold, Diamond etc. GDM is the pride and heart of Manica community and with time and hard work, sacrifice, dedication, its goldnesss shall be unveiled. Only with time and recognizing the value and importance of this interesting project, the development world can change its perception and the people of Manica can be the change of History. Together.
