As a leaders our first responsibility is to thoroughly understand the purpose of the organisation that we lead. Once we understand this purpose, we can better communicate it to the people who need to comparably understand it. This will insure that the team tasked with the realization of that purpose also has a clear understanding. If the purpose is misunderstood, then the rest is lost.
