Responsibilities:

Support in answering the 0800 toll-free help line. Monitor and respond to email queries. Prepare and report help line and help email statistics in MS Excel. Keep the help line and email scripts up to date.  Co-ordinate social media platforms, particularly Facebook content. Manage and update portal content. Manage and send out bulk sms updates. Write internal and external communications. Assist in executing communication events and campaigns. Co-ordinate materials required for communication events and campaigns. Assist other project work streams where required. Perform administrative type tasks as and when required. Work on updating the website and reviewing the website, browsing and doing research

on the internet. Must be familiar with Social Media (e.g. twitter, face book etc.)

Role
and Responsibilities

Write and develop copy and content for, and manage the updating of social media like twitter, facebook page and intranet portal page. Actively on a daily basis respond to twitter or facebook postings in a professional manner.

Manage the user logins and passwords of intranet portal. Manage an sms updating database, including the scripting and sending out of periodic sms bulk messages. Create and maintain email message groups of up to 2000 email addresses. Develop on-line or ppt newsletters, including content and copy. Write email updates and issue periodically, with newsletters, to email groups. Actively respond to email queries on a day to day basis. Manage (1, possibly 2 maximum) call centre staff responding to calls from suppliers and employees. Write and develop and update the FAQ script for call center staff for answering calls from suppliers and employees. Train and manage the call center staff day to day.Cover for the call centre staff when nobody is available to answer the 0800 line. Collate call statistics and produce basic charts in Excel. Produce and update powerpoint presentations using templates.


Skills:

Demonstrate excellent spoken and written English, including ability to write formal and
professional correspondence (newsletters, emails, letters)

Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel (including basic formulas and charts), MS PowerPoint and
MS Word. Be absolutely meticulous in attention to detail. Be able to multitask and take initiative where appropriate. Be comfortable working independently without constant supervision. Be willing to work long hours occasionally and travel when necessary. Be pro-active in approach to work and Job Specification. Must be able to work independently, Must have good writing skills.

Requirements:

PR or Communications tertiary qualification / diploma
