To be an effective leader, you should be confident enough to ensure that other follow your commands. If you are unsure about your own decisions and qualities, then your subordinates will never follow you. As a leader, you have to be oozing with confidence, show some swagger and assertiveness to gain the respect of your subordinates. This does not mean that you should be overconfident, but you should at least reflect the degree of confidence required to ensure that your followers trust you as a leader.
I've learned a lot during my absence and always ask my self " how long does it take a man to grow and the answer is many years but to fall is one day, so how can I allow my slippery to knock me down? Then from there I wake up and continue with my journey. I'm here because of Youth Zones it gave me the resources and not only resources it also gave me strength to my success. I started as an Athlete like every athlete but now I have a running club registered with ASA (Athletics of South Africa) and Social Development and for the first time of my life I organised a big event which is 3 in 1 half Marathon 5KM, 10KM and 21.1km and I'm so proud of my self.
