On 21 August Youthzones and Dreamfields jointly hosted a ‘Dream Event’ in Paballelo Upington. The day was filled with fun, football and connecting. Twelve primary schools from Upington participated
and each of these schools received
Dream Bag, containing full football kit and boots. Newly kitted out all
the kids then played in a tournament with eventual winners being Laerskool
Leerkrans.

A highlight of the day was that each of the kids received a medal and a football to take home. “I’ve personally attended over 50 of these and it is so gratifying” said Dreamfields Founder, John
Perlman. We would like to thank Ayanda and his volunteers as well as Silas,
Zola, Doc and the Upington Police who assisted in ensuring a great day.
