We are all different,and we all things in common.our diversity enriches us,and makesus stronger,wiser and more creative.when you have a prejudiced view for or against something someone,we call this bias,a stereotype is a fixed idea that we have about a particular person or thing.Discrimination means treting a person or group of people unfairly because of gender,race,etc  for example,in general,women earn less than men,even if they have the same qualications and experince and talents,but usually they work longer hours.the only reason they earn less is because they are women,so this is gender discrimination.

This are some of the negative thoughts. girls can't play socce,nerds wear glasses,fat people have no willpower,people who eat their hands have no manners,cooking and cleaning is women's work,poor people are stupid,people who have epilepsy and cerebral palsy are retarded,real men don't cry.can you see how bias and stereotypes lead us to treat people unfairly? yet we say we fought apartheid,did we realy or we wanted freedom to hate each other?,or shift race and gender aparteid?
