It was a fun atmosphere yesterday in mamelodi, we welcomed the guys from Daveyton to our site the aim being to interact and learn from each other.they arrived on time and before everything can begin we made a circle together to pray and thank the almighty GOD  for bringing them to this site and protecting them on the way, they came with Netball team, soccer under 15 and super team and also with their ladies soccer.it was the whole day of sport and interaction and that really kept the kids away from the street and keeping themselves busy because sport has the power to unite people the soccer field was packed to witness the beauty of soccer and friendship.

we played the first game it was the under 15 where Hungry lions won 2:0 and after there was the under 12 where Daveyton won on penalties the kids were so happy to have been given chance to play and show their parents that they can play. The netball team Daveyton played so well they even taught our girls some skills that will really help them in the future since it was not long they started to play.

later in the afternoon there was a big game of the day were the super teams from both site met to entartain the crowd and learn from each other the first game Hungry lions won 3:0 and the second game Daveyton won 3:2 it was a good day that will never be forgoten and the guys i saw they really had fun. after the games i got a chance to speak to the two coaches just to hear how are they feeling both of them said it was an experience of the life time and the want this kind of exchange to happen more often because when they travel to other sites the learn new things that if implemented in their site it can bring change.
