If you are somewhat intrigued by the name Dangerous Darkies(DD) and are wondering what sort of Pan African organisation this is, you can rest assured that we do not have any implicit polotical agenda. DD is a unique sports and recreation club that was established by proactive students in the community of Cosmo City, north west of Johannesburg.

Events and programmes that were fascilitated by staff members of Oasis South Africa in the month of June 2010 were paths towards a wonderful relationship between Oasis and the DD's. It introduced what we call "Urban Cross Cultural Character Panel Beating Initiation", which is a journey where young boys and girls old enough to make their decisions are exposed to situations that woll require them to make choices that reject some of societies prescriptions for their lives.Being young and surrounded by economic poverty has obstacles that often sets really low goals and dreams for many.

Without going into detail it is important to keep in mind that DD is under-going a transformation that will be led by the youth that lives in this community giving them a platform to realise and discover the gifts/incredible abilities already in them. DD is a place to make mistakes but also to learn from those mistakes because we are young and believe whether we are players or coaches we are there to learn from young/old boy/girl black and white.
