Leadership is taking responsibility. It has nothing to do with title or the title on your business card or the size of your office. Leadership is not about how much money you make or the clothes you wear.

Leadership is an influence. It's an attitude. It's a state of mind. And it's available to each one of us. Don’t ever see anybody as too small to counsel you when you know that they have the knowledge that can move you to your next level. Don’t ever feel too proud to learn from your subordinates.

If you seek the truth to move ahead, it'll gravitate towards you. And if you ignore the truth, it'll stay far from you. It does not matter who teaches you; all that matters is that you get the knowledge you need to move ahead in life.

Put your pride aside and learn from even your subordinates so that you can continue to go higher and higher. Don’t despise the wisdom you need to succeed just because it is domiciled in your subordinate.
