Youthzones We Are A Family with one Vision

is being a busy week for me but it was worthy it.

Tuesday I visited God With Us FC during the trianing session. I enjoy my day with them playing football and we did some great life skills activities.

Thursday I visited Sakhile Stars FC wow what the disciplined team when I arrived at their training. their coach was absent but the boys continued with their training sessoin with respect, fun and team work.

Bidvest Wits Mandela 67 Minutes visit at Freedom Park

what the big day for me but more special for my boys spending Mandela 67 minutes with Bidvest Wits Development at Frerdom Park with The Boys Fc.

Wits took sometime from their busy schedule to spend it with kids and play with them and share their stories how they ended up playing for Wits and they gave them advise to also focus on their education by balancing football and education

Nyaope

Nyaope has taken over in our community of orange farm. many young people are the victim of nyaope and its so painful to see our community youth being helpness to fight this nyaope addict due of not having a rehab system and lack of support from the community people.

I am.happy our family is growing now in our site of Orange Farm. Eyethu United fc has recruited 3 new teams Sakhile stars FC , GOD with Us FCand Simunye Global Athletics Club and we are looking forward to work with them in making our community a better community through sports, life skills, educational and enterprise.

Walala Wasala Youth

what a great day I had empowering myself from other Youthzones leaders by sharing ideas and being briefed more about Youthzones programs. I am looking forward to go back to my team and my community to implement some of the ideas I learned from other site leaders to change my community and correct where I have been not doing well at.

Social changes solutions

after visiting my players to see home lifestyle, our topic for this week will be based on social issues. we will be discussing more about social life challenges that we are facing as the youth of orange farm and try to come up with solutions.

its important as the youth to discuss abt this issues we are facing and expriencing each every day in our society. our brothers and sisters are smoking nyaope, drinking booze, stealing etc.

Let me take this opportunity to wish my players all the best during their school exams. this week I am busy doing home visit to the players home. talking with parents about education and football life of the players. some parent appriciate what I am doing for their kids by keeping them safe from all this bad things which are happening in our community meanwhile parents are at work. but it was sad and painful to hear or see other parents they dont care about football life of their kids meaning… Continue
