Hope not lost for young Tanyaradzwa.

The bus will be leaving in less than an hour and all is set for Doc and Simon to leave Mutare for Joburg. After a very hectic but successful program, we urgently have to be at the internet cafe for a few updates, oh, a bit of cash is needed for the journey as well!!!

A little knock is heard outside the gate, young Tanyaradzwa is waiting there clad in her brown school uniform. She entered the house and was surprised to see unfamiliar faces. She greets everyone with a little smile on…

Mutare - Live and Kicking

Yes it's true, Doc and Simon are in the house!!!!! Exactly on the 17th of January this year, I wrote about the resurrection of Mutare after their visit. Today, 5 months later, this hardworking pair is here again. We are proud to say Mutare has been very live and kicking. THE EFFECTIVE POWER OF TOGETHERNESS

This last weekend's experience will forever be remembered vividly by the Youthzones team and the lovely community of Jane Furse.

What was supposed to be a very long and tiresome 4 hour journey from Evaton North to Jane Furse, turned to be a very exciting trip filled with love, care and humour. You should have heard the singing, the jokes, important discussions and sharing of ideas to improve our work. Our loving broer & leader in the journey, Doc, would frequently ask if…
