ARE YOU HAVING A PROBLEM WITH DEFEAT?

This is the question that the organiser of the primary school tournament asked one of the coach who started a fight with another coach and since i got the skill from the life skills manual that we are having i went on and intervene to bring peace and resolve the conflict in a peaceful way and what i realise is that, this coach dont accept defeat and he want to instill this to the champs and is going to kill this boys because it is through defeat that you become great rather than always win and… Continue

Social Enigma or Minding one's business???

For the past 2 months that I have been in SA, I board a taxi almost everyday to and from work and I have noted with a bit of apprehension that contrary to what happens back in Zim, where people easily interact in the taxi, here the mood therein resembles that of people accompanying a corpse to it's final resting place!!! It's so tense regardless it's Monday or Friday!!! Honestly, to me it could be a blessing in disguise as I am yet to absorb the "XELI CHANGE", SANBONANI and other Zulu/Xhosa…

COMPUTER SKILLS WORKSHOP

The internet plays a big role in the lives of adult and teenagers alike. The important of the internet in a teenagers life increases with every day that goes by. If i had to build the perfect internet school, i would start by letting kids have a lot  of hands of hands-on activity.instead of having the teacher doing stuff on the computer. IKASIE PRESENT COMPUTER SKILL'S CLASS ON THE 12 OF OCTOBER 2014.  …

UMZIMKULU SITE

Thanks to fssa group for your support to the poor and needy , yes we take time to see but your patience to us one day will be rewarded, even the blind will see as long as you dont loose hope ,focus and dedication , for no price but for the love of your people one day your work will be rewarded. The presence of Simon Blangwe in our site revived the lost spirit to the youth that I am working with.

I learned about the YouthZone model and philosophies. Philosophies I felt were similar to mine.

Gentle, yet strong, but mostly I found an organization with respect towards families in the community that need help.

In 2011 I was playing U/15 and now im 18year old playing for Riet-vlei Liverpool fc senior and I still remember Doc and the other white friend called Schalk our coach he use to tell us about them and youthzones, they use to come to our coaches house and train with our senior team then after they were doing the something that we doing now with my coach Simon and when I ask him about them said he works with them, so I learned that from youthzones never expect the some people who they were…

The youth from privileged suburbs in Pretoria visited their friends in the disadvantaged Tubatse village in Steelpoort. The kids interacted and shared contact and they were just like brothers and sisters.

The importance of change

I feel like sharing what I have in my mind. peer pressure is not something that's just started now but peer pressure started long before we were even born. peer pressure has had a negative impact in our society and communities, where we find young people who had big potential turning to something they were not meant to be.

you believe that you're a person of

influence and a person of purpose, I believe you can rise up out of any

God has already done everything The ball is now in your…
