Free State - Intabazwe

  • Sabelo

    So excited to join!

  • doctor mabila

Hola Sabza. I hope you are doing great. Good one! We are family. Greet everyone.

  • doctor mabila

It is being very interesting here in Intabazwe. Schalk and Doc arrived yesterday afternoon on the 11th of April 2012 and we checked the whole area looking at all the soccer teams. We drove around looking which teams really train or not. And it was worth a drive because in almost every single corner there was something happening either girls practicing their dancing or boys playing netball. We then went to train with Dangerous Darkies and Peacemakers who use the same field where Sabelo and I trained with Dangerous Darkies and Schalk trained with Peacemakers. On Thursday, the 12th of April we spend much time doing admin and planning for the next day where Umlazi Juventus FC is visiting the lads to play a soccer match and learn from each other

who will lose their stomach first? Sakhile Schalk or Otto?

  • Maitse Otto Twala

If we are ever to enjoy life, now is the time; not tommorrow or next year! Today should always be our most wonderful day - And when we no longer able to chnage a situation......we are challenged to chnge ourselfs and that will make our day wonderful.

  • Maitse Otto Twala

When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us, so Intabazwe people here is an open door of happiness for us lets get in and enjoy ourselfs - come in HAPPINESS is here waiting for us.

  • Maitse Otto Twala

I spent a lot of time with Sakhile, that man realy gave me a lot of courage, i wish he could come back to Intabazwe, he true gentleman, and may the Mighty God Bless him in all his future plans.

FINALLY THE GAMES ARE STARTING, it's been long journey sleeping late around 12 sometimes preparing for this moment,Master,Scott,Simahla,June and myself. we always met almost 3 to 4 times a week looking for options that will make this league a success. we also like to THANK Sakhile for his presense as he pushed us hard to make this leauge a big success. with him we walk from 1 training ground to another taking teams photos and teamlists,we also like to THANK Master for accomodating us during our management meeting and taking us back home with his car after the meetings may GOD bless him. Even though we are not 100% done with our preparations but decided to start. Grounds are in good condition but teams said they are used to and we are still trying to get a crator to help us. But the promise is that when teams have played about five games everything will be perfect. THANKS GOD AT LAST WE HAVE STARTED. AS WE ALL KNOW ROME WAS NOT BUILD IN 1 DAY

It is been a long Christmas break for the teams in intabazwe, and this last weekend they were back in the turf tussling for 3 points. the league is becoming a 100 metre race know as teams in top are hammering bottom teams so bad. we hope that this good performances will go on like this.

  • Berlinah Makhoba

    its monday today

  • doctor mabila

Yesterday on the 24th of March Schalk and I drove down to give away prizes to the teams in Intabzwe which participated in the Ubuntu social League. The first round of the league has come to an end. And it was now time to resume the second round. But before that we wanted to boost the morale of the teams participated by giving them small prizes like laptops, modems, balls. The teams were not only earning points by playing football but also through showing different initiatives or social responsibilities. Some either open email, be involved in the website, cleaning campaign, opening pre school, opening tuck shops etc. Due to communication failure between the committee and the teams, yesterday as we arrived in Intabazwe we only find few people, even numbers. I remember these words of my friend who said 'even if you want to give them free things they don't pitch, haibo I am depressed'. In life no one to blame but ourselves poor or rich,

  • Maitse Otto Twala

On behalf of Intabazwe Ubuntu Social League Committee, we would  like to apologise to the community of Intabazwe for disappointing them in this (24 March) when teams were suppose to get some morale boosting prizes before the begginning of a second round of our league. i think miscommunication was the order during the issuing of invitation letters. the other thing is that due to personal committments  of some of committee members we failed to organise everything to perfection, WE REALLY APOLOGISE AND WE PROMISE THAT NEXT TIME THINGS WILL BE PERFECT

  • Maitse Otto Twala

I have 28 years staying in Intabazwe, and I have played football with the legends of this location. by that time football was 1 thing that the community enjoyed. we used to organise transport for ourselves when there was trials opportunities in our province (Free State). We were united as footballers nothing us. Looking today we are scattered like we don't play the same sporting code, everyone is pulling to other directions, team owners have their agendas and the players have theirs as well, when trying to put sense to them and show them opportunities in front of them - THEY DON'T SEE; THEY ONLY FOCUS ON 1 THING - WHAT ARE WE PLAYING FOR? there is no more commitment and seriousness about the talents we have in location. But I hope from this Sunday everyone will see that when you put your mind in something you will benefit at end of the day. The Bible state that God gave 2 people talents (the first was given 5 talents and the other was given 1 talent). The 1 with 5 talents never used his talents accordingly and got nothing; the other with 1 talent used it to perfection and got other talents from it. The thing is : Intabazwe has talent but people who have the talent don't want to use it to get other talents. Let's work up and smell the rosy coffee we have in front of us and use it to help ourselves as well as the community we live in. VUKA INTABAZWE VUKA UZENZELE - IT'S TIME

  • Tsepo Moloi

To Doc and Schalk as well as the youthzones family like to say thank you for what you have done for Intabazwe youth so far and may you please don't give up on us, we really need you guys in uplifting our community - WE LUV YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU

  • Maitse Otto Twala

What the talent we have in our location, as i was busy working around marketing our league i saw other talents we have as INTABAZWERIANS, from art to debates. the choirs and traditional groups, choreographers to pageant etc. i hope all this talent could be accommodate in someway but i believe that with youthzone everything is possible

  • Maitse Otto Twala

Its a new year and new resolutions for intanabazwe, hope we will improve on the results of next year. Last year was our first and we experienced more problems than any other thing. But this is a year for intabazwe....unity and commitment is needed....we welcome 2014 with warm hands.
