This is the message by Luvuyo Precious Lonwabo Bayeni:
The time has come for the Grade 12 to make their mark. The year 2010 was clouded by happy and sad memories. We saw the World Cup lift up peaople's spirit and unity within the country, and continent as a whole. That experience was short-lived though with the Public service strike that dragged forever, needless to say its consequences still haunt us even today.
Despite all this it was then necesseccary for us to reflect back and retrace our steps in preparing for a climatic end of the year. There is nothing befinting as the Matric Exam. It is on this note that i decide to continue on my Matric Outreach programme,despite time not being on my side. The 2010 Matric outreach was more symbolic in its nature. With the support of Blue Crane Hospice and Youth Zones, we visited all the 5 High Schools of Blue Crane. The message delivered was that of Hope and Light. A Devotion "Seeing with your eyes" was shared in all the 5 gatherings. A candle was then donated to the school with the notion that it will be kept lit during the entire exam period. The Candle Light would serve as a symbol of hope and remind the learners not to ive up as there is "light at the end of the tunnel" after all.
I hereby would like to thank the Blue Crane Hospice for their donations with catering, Youth Zones for the financial assistance. I must alo thank a friend, colleugue and fellow Board member (Blue Crane Celtics) Mr. Xolani Brander for availing himself for the visits to Johnson Nqonqoza and Aeroville high. Indeed you put your words of support into action. Also want to relay my sincere gratitude to all the School Principals who welcomed the project without any reservations despite the short notice.
In conclusion would like to appeal to the entire community of Blue Crane to support the Matric learners during this testing time in their lives. Every little effort that we make in support, will definately make a difference. To the matrics remember that we are behind you all the way!!!

My first visit at the somerset site, seeing the beggining of a brighter future in Nojoli primary school and helping two brothers get email addresses. This is a great initiative i must say, the two guys i helped yesterday wouln't have had the opportunity if this site was not here. A teacher and Schalk did a computer lesson with garde 7 learners and they were excited. Opportunities we never had when we were in school but today because of you guys our brothers and sisters have those opportunities. Keith and Dudu what you started is great, you helping our communities to have hope. keep it up! Bayeni a healthy mind deserves a healthy body and an active mind deserves an active body, keep training these kids and you will blessed. with people like you guys in somerset I foresee great results and a positive change. When you feel like giving up, dont! pick-up a phone and talk to a friend because in a friend you'll find strength. Being in somerset has recharged me, I now feel under utilised and I bielive I can be of great assistance. Everyone thats doing something to transform the lives of young people,I salute you!!!

Time to change
Today we have higher buildings and wider highways, but shorter temperments and narrower points of view.
We spend more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses, but smaller families. We have more compromises, but less time. We have more knowledge, but less judgement. We have more medicines, but less health.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk much, we love only a little, and we hate too much.
We reached the moon and came back, but we find it troublesome to cross our own street and meet our neighbors. We have conquered the outer space, but not our inner space.
We have higher income, but less morals… These are times with more liberty, but less joy… With much more food, but less nutrition…
These are days in which two salaries come home, but divorces increase. These are times of finer houses, but more broken homes.
That’s why I propose that as of today -- I do not keep anything for a special occasion, because every day that you live is a special occasion. Search for knowledge, read more, sit on your front porch and admire the view without paying attention to the needs. Pass more time with your family, eat your favourite food, visit the place you love. Life is a chain of moments of enjoyment; it isn’t only survival.
Use your crystal goblets. Do not save your best perfume… use it every time you feel you want it. Take out from your vocabulary phrases like, “one of these days” and “someday”. Let’s write that letter we thought of writing “one of these days…”
Let’s tell our families and friends how much we love them. Never pass up a chance at adding laughter and joy to your life. Every day, hour, and minute are special… Because you never know if it will be your last…

The key to open many doors is in our hands. Success is within our reach we have the power and ability to progress only if we utilise time correclty and work as a team. A soccer coach needs a game plan to win a match; a traveller to a foreign land needs a road map to find places.We are so lucky to have such asserts lets utelise them.

I challenge myself and everyone to practise the above qoute not only for you as an individual but also for those that can't do it on their own. Together Each Achieves More.

This is one of the best initiative getting everything free without paying any cent, as we all know that to day we pay for everything but now we have a chance to get skills and share ideas, let us take this opportunity once and grab it with both hands because such chances are very scarce.
