Its a new year and new resolutions for intanabazwe, hope we will improve on the results of next year. Last year was our first and we experienced more problems than any other thing. But this is a year for intabazwe....unity and commitment is needed....we welcome 2014 with warm hands.
What the talent we have in our location, as i was busy working around marketing our league i saw other talents we have as INTABAZWERIANS, from art to debates. the choirs and traditional groups, choreographers to pageant etc. i hope all this talent could be accommodate in someway but i believe that with youthzone everything is possible
To Doc and Schalk as well as the youthzones family like to say thank you for what you have done for Intabazwe youth so far and may you please don't give up on us, we really need you guys in uplifting our community - WE LUV YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU
I have 28 years staying in Intabazwe, and I have played football with the legends of this location. by that time football was 1 thing that the community enjoyed. we used to organise transport for ourselves when there was trials opportunities in our province (Free State). We were united as footballers nothing us. Looking today we are scattered like we don't play the same sporting code, everyone is pulling to other directions, team owners have their agendas and the players have theirs as well, when trying to put sense to them and show them opportunities in front of them - THEY DON'T SEE; THEY ONLY FOCUS ON 1 THING - WHAT ARE WE PLAYING FOR? there is no more commitment and seriousness about the talents we have in location. But I hope from this Sunday everyone will see that when you put your mind in something you will benefit at end of the day. The Bible state that God gave 2 people talents (the first was given 5 talents and the other was given 1 talent). The 1 with 5 talents never used his talents accordingly and got nothing; the other with 1 talent used it to perfection and got other talents from it. The thing is : Intabazwe has talent but people who have the talent don't want to use it to get other talents. Let's work up and smell the rosy coffee we have in front of us and use it to help ourselves as well as the community we live in. VUKA INTABAZWE VUKA UZENZELE - IT'S TIME
On behalf of Intabazwe Ubuntu Social League Committee, we would like to apologise to the community of Intabazwe for disappointing them in this (24 March) when teams were suppose to get some morale boosting prizes before the begginning of a second round of our league. i think miscommunication was the order during the issuing of invitation letters. the other thing is that due to personal committments of some of committee members we failed to organise everything to perfection, WE REALLY APOLOGISE AND WE PROMISE THAT NEXT TIME THINGS WILL BE PERFECT
Yesterday on the 24th of March Schalk and I drove down to give away prizes to the teams in Intabzwe which participated in the Ubuntu social League. The first round of the league has come to an end. And it was now time to resume the second round. But before that we wanted to boost the morale of the teams participated by giving them small prizes like laptops, modems, balls. The teams were not only earning points by playing football but also through showing different initiatives or social responsibilities. Some either open email, be involved in the website, cleaning campaign, opening pre school, opening tuck shops etc. Due to communication failure between the committee and the teams, yesterday as we arrived in Intabazwe we only find few people, even numbers. I remember these words of my friend who said 'even if you want to give them free things they don't pitch, haibo I am depressed'. In life no one to blame but ourselves poor or rich,
